1:12 dollhouse & miniature scale converter
Miniature makers need accurate real-world dimensions at scale. Our viewer computes bounding boxes, then applies ratios from 1:6 fashion doll through 1:144 micro dollhouse — alongside wireframe captures for Etsy and Instagram.

Preset ratios include 1:12 (standard dollhouse), 1:24 (half scale), 1:48 (quarter inch), 1:64 (Hot Wheels scale), 1:87 (HO trains), and 1:144 (nested dollhouse). Select mm, cm, m, or inches for file units.
Pair dimensions with wireframe marketing
Scale readouts feed directly into our metadata exporter — download a JSON spec or PDF tech sheet listing model W×H×D at your chosen ratio. Perfect for Etsy listings where buyers compare footprint to shelf space.
Why scale accuracy matters more for miniatures than any other category
A 2% dimension error is invisible on a life-size print but glaring on a 1:12 dollhouse chair sized against real furniture in a customer's photo. Buyers cross-reference your listed dimensions with other pieces already in their collection, so a bounding-box readout that matches the exported mesh — not a rounded estimate — is what prevents return requests.
Frequently asked questions
How do I know my file units?
STL files carry no unit metadata. Select the unit your DCC exported (most miniatures are modeled in mm) before reading scale output.
Can I capture a wireframe at an exact angle?
Yes. The 3D Viewer includes camera presets (front, iso, top) plus keyboard orbit controls and 4K PNG capture.
Does the scale converter account for printer shrinkage?
No — it reports the exact modeled dimensions at your chosen ratio. Material shrinkage varies by filament/resin and printer calibration, so factor that in separately before finalizing tolerances.
